Vibe of the Week 9

To end this month of May, let’s get some looove in the air!

I recently watched “Four weddings and a funeral” (1994) on TV, and oh boy! Hugh Grant was so young!! I have seen with him last in “The Undoing” (2020), a TV series with Nicole Kidman ( I recommend) … The whole cast all have aged. Well, to be fair, there is 26 years between those two movie/series. The British Romcom still get it! it is still enjoyable to watch after 28 years. And, may I say Kristin Scott Thomas is fabulous!

1994 Movie Poster

I can’t talk about this movie without mentioning the spin off they did for “Red Nose Day” in 2019. There was another wedding, and all the characters came back … and some (kids) join the gang!

To be honest, I don’t know where we can find it now! It was available on Youtube when it came out. Now, we only have pictures to enjoy online … one picture in particular just makes my heart smile!

WARNING – SPOILER !!!

Cinderella (Lily James) and Lara Croft (Alicia Vikander) are getting married!

We still can hear the song “Love is all around” by Wet Wet Wet in the short video. And, Kristin Scott Thomas is still fabulous!

So, with love, Enjoy your day, Enjoy your week, and until next time!

I feel it in my fingers
I feel it in my toes
Love that’s all around me
And so the feeling grows

It’s written on the wind
It’s everywhere I go, oh yes it is
So if you really love me
Come on and let it show, oh

You know I love you, I always will
My mind’s made up by the way that I feel
There’s no beginning, there’ll be no end
‘Cause on my love you can depend

I see your face before me
As I lay on my bed
I kinda get to thinking
Of all the things you said, oh yes I do

You gave your promise to me and I gave mine to you
I need someone beside me in everything I do
Oh, yes I do

You know I love you, I always will
My mind’s made up by the way that I feel
There’s no beginning, there’ll be no end
‘Cause on my love you can depend

I gotta keep it moving

Ooh, it’s written in the wind
Oh, everywhere I go, yeah, ooh yeah
So if you really love me, love me, love me
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it
Come on and let it
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it
Come on and let it
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it show, baby
Come on and let it show

Vibe of the Week 8

An intense week require an intense song!

Well, the week is not that intense, the beginning of this movie “Black Widow” 2021 is. And boy! that song is just perfect! I had the chance to watch this movie in theater … just that! I just wanted to say I watched it in theater … twice, right after Covid-19 restrictions were lift and theater were open again. Aaaah! Good timse!

The movie is really great, well! it is a Marvel movie after all! Great action scenes, funny lines, and it introduces us to Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh). It was also bittersweet, knowing Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) ‘s fate, I enjoyed her every moment on-screen, every call-backs, and Rachel Weisz.

I knew the “Smell like Teen Spirit” was originally by Nirvana. I didn’t know that the “dark” cover by Malia J. was from 2015. Malia J. said that she was contacted by Marvel in 2020 in the hopes of using her cover of the song. Way to go girl!!

Enjoy your day, enjoy your week and this is song is perfect if you are looking for uplifting inspirational song!

Load up on guns and bring your friends
It’s fun to lose and to pretend
She’s over-bored and self-assured
Oh no, I know a dirty word

Hello, hello, hello, how low
Hello, hello, hello, how low

With the lights out, it’s less dangerous
Here we are now, entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now, entertain us

I’m worse at what I do best
And for this gift, I feel blessed
Our little group has always been
And always will until the end

Hello, hello, hello, how low
Hello, hello, hello, how low

With the lights out, it’s less dangerous
Here we are now, entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now, entertain us
A mulatto, an albino
A mosquito, my libido

And I forget just why I taste
Oh yeah, I guess it makes me smile
I found it hard, it’s hard to find
Oh well, whatever, never mind

Hello, hello, hello, how low
Hello, hello, hello, how low

With the lights out, it’s less dangerous
Here we are now, entertain us
I feel stupid and contagious
Here we are now, entertain us

A denial, a denial
A denial, a denial
A denial, a denial
A denial, a denial

Vibe of the Week 7

A good dose of upbeat to start the week!

If you know the quote “IT’S SOOOOO FLUFFFFYYYYYYYYY!!! then, we can be friends!

Pharrell Williams songs are always a good choice to start a week to be honest. For this week, we choose “Fun, Fun, Fun” from the movie “Despicable Me(2010) … the first one, I don’t know why it shows the third installment in the video.

Minions in da place

Did I mention Steve Carell voice the main character ? He is probably my second favorite actor, … the first one being Tom Hanks (Woody in Toy Story). Basically, whoever voice an animated character will have a special place in my favorite actors !

Meanwhile, don’t forget to check my Youtube Channel where I talk with myself about stuff, … mostly movies, but other stuff too!

Enjoy your day, Enjoy your week and see you soon!

PS : The lyrics just hit home!

Take me, far away, anywhere
As long as it’s fun, fun, fun, fun
Fun, fun, fun, I wanna go

The school bell rings, what I’ve been waiting for
And you just spring and run for the door
Hey, it’s summer Mom, hey, it’s summer Dad
Man, it’s been so long since the children had
A good time

Hey, maybe it all probably takes it’s toll?
Hey, but didn’t I make honor roll?
Either way eat your words, it’s our time
We deserve
Oh, to have a good time

Take me, far away, anywhere
As long as it’s fun, fun, fun, fun
Fun, fun, fun, I wanna go

No more teachers and principals
A good behavior is sensible
Let’s do everything till the summer’s done
It’s the greatest time for a soda, yum

And have a good time
Hey, maybe it all probably takes its toll?
Hey, but didn’t I make honor roll?
Either way, eat your words, its our time
We deserve
Oh, to have a good time

Take me, far away, anywhere
As long as it’s fun, fun, fun, fun
Fun, fun, fun, I wanna go

No more homework or PTA
No more lunch food, it’s toxic waste
Let’s get Mickey D’s, as a matter of fact
Lets get Happy Meals, want a sundae, man?
What a good time
Hey, maybe it all probably takes its toll
Hey, but didn’t I make honor roll?
Either way, eat your words, it’s our time
We deserve
Oh, to have a good time

Vibe of the Week 6

So, I made a First Line video already about this movie. And, of course I found a great song in my favorite movie.

“Le Festin” by Michael Giacchino and sing by Camille just tell you to relax and enjoy eating! The France touch in it is just exquisite. Everytime I hear this song, I just want some wine, cheese and bread on the side. It is a whole vibe!

And Yes, “Ratatouille” 2007 still remain my favorite movie of all time! And, that makes it our Vibe of the Week ! Bon Appetit !

Jamais on ne me dira

PS : I got my own Remi!

Remi says hi!

Vibe of the week 5

Let’s start May with a nice beat!

I heard “Gone in the morning”Newtown Faulkner, in a movie that I enjoyed a lot : “Morning Glory” 2010 with Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton. The script is good, the actors are awesome. And, it is light and fun!

And, the scene in which the song is playing ? Rachel McAdams, in a dress, running in high heels …. You can’t get more hyped than that !

She runs fast too! kudos!

Since then, this song is in my playlist. Every time I hear it, I have this scene play in my head, and it makes me wanna run (with her) too!

And that makes it our Vibe of the Week! Wish you all a nice run and don’t forget to check the Youtube Channel for “First Line” videos !

Off to the land where no one’s been before.
I’m gonna take my shoes of at the door.
I’m gonna go with dreams that will explode. (oowooh)
When the alarm goes off, I just won’t know.

Wont you come with me?
Wont you, come with me
Wont you, before they’re

Gone in the morning, I wanna know why
Their gone in the morning, I feel alone when they’re
Gone in the morning, I wanna know why they’re
Gone in the morning and I

I don’t mind, what’s in store
Make it in my own sweet time
When I go,

I’m gonna master all kinds of kung-fu
I’m gonna live inside a tiny zoo.
I’m gonna grow myself a giant Afro (incredible fro)
When the alarm goes off I just won’t know.

Wont you come with me?
Wont you, come with me
Wont you, before they’re

Gone in the morning, I wanna know why
They’re gone in the morning, I feel alone when they’re
Gone in the morning, I wanna know why they’re
Gone in the morning and I

I don’t mind, what’s in store
Make it in my own sweet time
When I go, oh I don’t want to go

Wont you come with me?
Wont you, come with me
Wont you, before they’re

Gone in the morning, I wanna know why
They’re gone in the morning, I feel alone when they’re
Gone in the morning, I wanna know why they’re
Gone in the morning and I

Gone in the morning, I wanna know why
They’re gone in the morning, I feel alone when they’re
Gone in the morning, I wanna know why they’re
Gone in the morning and I
